Jeff is a licensed landscape architect who is passionate about creating and preserving meaningful and enduring places for people to enjoy and appreciate. With a background in natural sciences/ecology, and a love for the outdoors- from gardens to wild places- Jeff’s designs are grounded in ecology and informed by the social and landscape context. Jeff’s focus has been on the design and implementation of public places, from urban to rural, at a variety of scales primarily in the Pacific Northwest and Northern Rockies regions. Jeff is adept at managing complex projects and directing multidisciplinary teams that share a common vision. He has been involved in many projects from their inception; collaborating with clients to develop the program, creating conceptual plans, and implementing the design. In his free time Jeff enjoys being outdoors, exploring places near and far, reading, and spending time with Kirsten and their three young adult children (when they are around).

SANDY FISCHER – RLA, FASLA

Sandy is a licensed landscape architect and community planner and she is currently an independent advisor for the firm. Her practice has focused on leading teams, planning livable communities and designing enduring places. Her planning work has guided new and existing, rural and urban, local and international communities. Sandy has a large and diverse portfolio of built work in the Northern Rockies and Pacific Northwest. She enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects. Her planning work includes collaborating with communities on spatial and policy framework plans that integrate conservation and development. Sandy is a talented landscape and site designer who takes pride in creating attractive and enduring public places. She enjoys collaborating and often engages other design disciplines and artisans to creatively express history, culture and geography. In her free time Sandy enjoys gardening, traveling, reading, bicycling, skiing, boating and spending time with her friends, husband and their two sons.

JEFF PETERSON – RLA, ASLA

Jeff is a licensed landscape architect with experience in landscape design, landscape installation and environmental resource management. He utilizes a working knowledge and strong skills in environmental science, design concepts, computer programs and communication. Jeff has helped steer environmentally responsible projects that accent the innate beauty of nature while meeting client needs. Jeff has several years of experience in designing, building and maintaining residential landscapes and gardens. He has developed conceptual and detailed plans and established maintenance regimes for projects around the Puget Sound. Jeff’s work stems from the belief that a design must be rooted in as much quality time spent on the site before, during and after the completion of a project as possible. Jeff ’s work is informed by experience in scientific evaluations of the natural environment. This has included surveying and identifying native plant communities, working on environmental restoration projects as well as agricultural research.
