The City’s first Urban Area Non-Motorized Transportation Plan was developed with the support of a robust public involvement project. The plan proposes a system of independent yet connected on street and off street networks. The plan also addresses design standards, programs, policies and management strategies. We have supported implementation of the plan completing a number of feasibility studies, design standards and construction documents for several trail segments. The City now has over 40 miles of completed off-street pathways and has an adopted a complete streets policy. Recipient of ASLA Chapter Planning Award.
