The project was awarded the best mixed-use development of the year by NAIOP in November 2023. Marina Square is pedestrian/transit-oriented development on the waterfront in Bremerton, WA. This mixed-use infill project developed by Sound West Group includes apartments, restaurants, commercial, underground parking, and a variety of shared spaces including plazas, overlooks, and rooftop patios for residents. Public spaces exist around and between the two towers and include enhanced streetscapes, improved waterfront and redesign of “The Stramp”, a landscaped pedestrian corridor connecting the City to the waterfront. Waterfront amenities include an accessible public promenade, overlooks, and seating terraces. FBP provided landscape architecture services, including site design, grading, site materials, shoreline restoration, and planting for this exciting new waterfront living opportunity and destination in downtown Bremerton, Washington. The owner is Sound West Group and the architect was Encore Architects.
