The Walk is a creative infill new neighborhood in the Winslow Town Center located on Bainbridge Island, WA. On a quarter acre site, the plan achieves a density of 30 dwelling units per acre. A distinctive feature is “the walk”. European in character, the walk is a linear common space with shared amenities including play space, seating areas and community gardens. Connections to trails and carefully detailed streetscapes and parking courts knit the new residences into the existing neighborhood fabric while providing common spaces and small private courtyards.
