Brando is currently completing a Master’s in Landscape Architecture at the University of Washington. Brando brings an enthusiasm towards the design process and the positive influence that our built environments have on our lifestyle. Brando believes in the importance of stewarding a project from design, implementation, and long after, and his designs attempt to create harmony between craftmanship and ecology. Brando has residential design and construction experience in Northern California and Seattle. His work at UW includes the Kintsugi Garden at the Japanese Cultural Center of Washington, which received an ASLA student honor award, a therapeutic garden at the Puget Sound Veteran’s Hospital, and a neighborhood Sustainability Master Plan for the community of Surrey Downs in Bellevue. He enjoys any time spent in the company of friends and family. He thrives on any outdoor activity, from hiking, biking, snowboarding, sports, camping, and international travel.
