FBP is providing landscape architectural services for a new 5-story apartment building by H+dlT Collaborative architects and Xiaowei Yang, HR International. Located in the University District, the student housing will include perimeter landscaping, underground parking, a street side plaza and a secure “backyard” with outdoor patios and privacy landscaping. The design is contemporary with a subtle Asian theme. For seasonal interest, the design introduces drifts of ornamental grasses, bulbs and perennials in combination with evergreen groundcovers and shrubs. The color palette is reds, soft pinks, blacks and whites with blue accents. FBP is assisting with design, construction documents and entitlement including Master Use Plan and Green Factor approvals.
