FBP provided landscape architectural services for this 15-unit single family subdivision in West Seattle. Planting design met City of Seattle Green Factor requirements. Coordination with the civil engineer resulted in the design of multiple rain garden planting cells between homes and significant pervious surfaces. Many of the large significant trees are preserved in the plan and the proposed landscape transitions from more ornamental grasses and showy perennials at the home’s front entries to more robust and native groundcovers and shrubs near the existing tree canopies edge.
